Elvera Kohler passes

Elvera E. (Sellers) Kohler, 70 of Beverly Hills, FL, formerly of Dallastown, PA, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Promise Hospital at the Villages in Oxford, Florida. She was the loving wife of Bernell L. Kohler.

Born May 7, 1945 in York, PA, she was a daughter of the late Archie Willis and Romaine Elizabeth (Oreman) Sellers .

She was a member of the Dallastown Fire Company Ladies Auxillary and also volunteered for Fire Police Duty. In addition, Elvera has also worked as a security officer at Brunner's Island and ran a small business with her husband, Kohler's Radio & TV Service in Red Lion, PA. Most of all, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Elvera is preceded in death by four brothers, Willis, Donald, Francis and Maurice Sellers, and great-grandson, Connor Stubbs.

Honor Elvera Kohler



A service to honor the life of Elvera will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Chaplain Rob Granzow officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, January 18, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home, and then again on Tuesday from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, followed by a time of fellowship.
