Laura C. Robinette passes

Laura Canterbury Stone Robinette 91 of Hurricane passed away peacefully Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Genisus of Teays Valley with her children by her side.


She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Wynona Canterbury, husbands Alvin L Stone, and John Robinette, Brothers Homer, Herman, Sam Jr. Clearance, Gene, Wade, Douglas and Sister Velma. Step Daughter Betty Step son Don Robinette.


She was member of Pine Grove Church of Christ and was baptized in 1942 by Minister Flavil Smith. She was past member of Eastern Star, Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader, Member of Putnam County Home Demonstration Club, She was a talented and loving person


She is survived by her children Beverly Burgess and Ruth Ann Stone both of Hurricane Steve (Ruth Ann) Stone of Charleston, Alan Stone of Milan MI. and Step children Doug Robinette of Beckley, Frank Robinette, Brenda Aldenerfer, Fran Kienlee, Linda Holman all of Ohio, 12 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren, Brother Ray (Betty) Canterbury of De Land FL Sisters Judy (Roy) Russell Franklin VA and Sandra (Danny) Simpkins of Beverly Hills FL and her Dog Rocco.

The family would like to thank the staff at Genisus of Teays Valley, Congregation of Pine Grove and Friends and family for the loving care they have shown.
